  They will be describing places and writing about St Michaels School past and present.

English - This week the children will be writing short stories based on a familiar story read in class.
 World book day - Thursday. We will be looking at and discussing lots of books and some favourite authors. Children will visit the school library for story time and have the opportunity to talk about their costumes.
Mathematics - Addition & subtraction to 50
Geog. - This week the children will be looking at what they have recently learnt as Geographers. To consolidate their learning they will be writing about what they have learnt and what resources they used.

We will also be researching Bill Robinson linking to our school text Rap a tap tap.

During the first couple of days in Owl class the children will be exploring their new learning environment, settling into new classroom routines and learning our expectations.
