Owl Class Y1 Notices

Owl Class 2021-2022- Information for parents
Reading in Owl Class
Owl Class had a wonderful morning on Friday meeting the author Alison Simpson. After her workshop the class decided to write their own stories, information, songs and sentences based on Bodhi the Pirate Dog. Owl Class produced some lovely pieces of independent writing and illustrations. Alison was thrilled to receive written work from the children.
Well done Owls :)
Recently Owl Class have enjoyed listening to the story of the Enchanted Forest written by Enid Blyton.
The story has inspired children to read books with short chapters, use their imagination to write their own short stories and illustrate stories. Some children have shared books from home they are reading which is wonderful. If children would like to bring in a special book they have read at home they are welcome to.
Thank you
