Progression is planned from Reception to Key Stage Two through the provision of appropriate activities and the increasing expectations we have of our children and the amount of homework that they are given as they move up through the school.
Reading
Children should be reading at home a minimum of 4 times per week. This needs to be recorded in your child’s reading record and signed by adult. Reading records and books need to come to school every day.
Reading for pleasure book (Changed weekly)
A RWI Bookbag book (Changed every 2 weeks).
Paper Copy RWI book (Changed every 2 weeks).
Spellings
Spellings will be set on Thursdays with a test of theses spelling the follwoing Wednesday. You can access the spelling list for the week at the bottom of the page.
Maths
At the end of each maths unit we cover in class a small booklet will be sent home for children to complete. These will include answers to mark at home.

Brain Builders
A brain builder homework will be set three times over the year supporting the learning we are focusing on in class. The dates for these are set out below and an electronic copy will be available below when it is set.
